Conferences on Photography and Conflict in 2018

Recently several Conference Invitations and Call for Papers for Conferences dealing with photography and conflict as well as photojournalism in a wider sense have been published. Already in May there will be an interesting conference on 'Pictures of War: The Still Image in Conflict since 1945' organized by the Manchester School of Art. Marcel Reyes-Cortez organises in September the 2nd International Conference on Photographyin Academic Research dealing with 'Images in Post-Truth Era' at Birkbek College in London. The International Association of Photography and Theory published the Call for the 5thInternational Conference of Photography and Theory dealing with 'Photographies and Conflict: Archiving and Consuming Images of Strife'and taking place in Novembre 2018 in Nicosia.
